observed by real signal

Real Signal is an AI company helping small communities and the businesses inside them. Software-only, calm by default, attention-respecting in code.

five things we refuse to do.

Most consumer apps in this category are loud — flash banners, urgency timers, social-proof footers, named-competitor comparisons in dashboards. We refuse all five. The refusals below are enforced in code, not policy. A future engineer cannot add them by mistake.

01 · nothing downloads, nothing ships

No app. No install. No account before you have a reason. No printed materials, no posted artefacts, no door-to-door. The agent runs in the browser and talks to you through web push, the occasional message, and AI assistants pulling from our public MCP server — channels you already use.

02 · no ads, no broadcast

We never pay for your attention and we never broadcast to a merchant's existing customers. The agent surfaces one observation when one observation is true — never a digest, never a campaign.

03 · no named comparisons

Aggregate buckets only — never "this cafe versus that one." Defamation law in Singapore is strict, and naming names is the easiest way to be wrong loudly. We refuse the easy version.

04 · no marketing words

The agent's voice is locked in code. No "amazing", no "don't miss", no exclamation marks. Numbers do the work — "18 of 22 left, 12 minutes" beats "almost gone, hurry!" every time.

05 · no fees yet

Consumers pay nothing. Merchants pay nothing. The platform runs free in both directions until there is measurable evidence the agent creates durable value for both sides. When that day arrives, the conversation will be obvious.
